Lee Magner, Founder and CEO of Guest Porter, is a host of several properties on Airbnb and therefore recognised the host/guest problem of early check-in’s.
Guests arrive early with bags and the host can’t accommodate early check- in if there is already a guest in residence. Guest has to find bag drop or drag his bags around town until checkin normally not until late afternoon, wasting the first day in London
This was the lightbulb moment when Lee decided there was a need to solve this problem both for hosts and guests, by offering an easy to use luggage service, which didn’t require guests to hunt out a static storage space in London and have to return back to collect before check-in, but a meet and greet service at the main railway stations where the guests could safely leave their luggage and get delivery direct to their Airbnb on check-in, as well as adding in other guest services, including Guest Porter’s Grocery Guest Packs. Thus Guest Porter was born.
Lee Magner, lawyer and serial entrepreneur is the driving force behind Guest Porter. He is the owner and founder of Faradays of London, (an established property management and letting company in Marylebone) for the last 25 years, as well as a professional Airbnb host. With the idea of offering young entrepreneurs the chance to learn, whilst working on a new business start- up in Central London, he has also founded the Young Entrepreneur Club in London, mentoring a team of under graduates in a reach out programme with local universities offering educational internships.
Guest Porter plans to expand its partnership with Airbnb hosts around the world providing service excellence, improving their guests experience on check-in and generating extra revenue for hosts.
